CTK is proud to announce the arrival of Math Counts Club!!
What is it? Math Counts is a nationally recognized program that makes math fun! Math Counts Club has students working in groups to solve problems that challenge and encourage development of their quantitative skills.
CTK will start with the Math Counts Club this school year. Next year, CTK will participate in the Math Counts Competition Program, as well as the MOEMS math Olympiads. Our goal is to encourage and recognize our fine math students here at CTK.
In November, to coincide with the grand opening of our parish's shrine to St. Perregrine, CTK students collected names from parishionersof those who have died from cancer, or are surviving with cancer. The names were put on laminated hearts and put all around the walkway leading up to the shrine.
Students from every grade at Christ the King School in Mesa had 135 pieces, largely religious in nature, on display in the education center at the Phoenix Art Museum. The pieces were created through the school’s Art Masterpiece program and were on display from Dec. 9 through Dec. 28.

40 Days for Life
Christ the King's 8th graders are participating in the national 40 Days for Life campaign. They have placed 150 pink and blue flags prominently on the front lawn of the church. The flags represent the average number of children lost to abortion in one hour in the United States.
