TWO CTK GRADUATES TO PLAY COLLEGE SPORTS

Congratulations to Theresa Wirth and Liz Blaser, both graduating from Seton Catholic Preparatory in May. Theresa is a 2-time Seton State Basketball Champion, was awarded All State Player and received a scholarship to play at the University of Denver in Colorado. Liz is a 2-time Seton State Volleyball Champion, was awarded All Region Honorable Mention Player and received an athletic and academic scholarship to play at Northwest Christian University in Eugene, Oregon. Congrats to these CTK 2007 alumni!

Congratulations to two outstanding Christ the King Graduates:

Seton Catholic Preparatory student and Christ the King 2007 graduate Liz Blaser, attended the Arizona Girls State program recently held at University of Arizona in Tucson. Liz was voted in as a City Councilman and also as the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors.

Arizona Girls State is a unique citizenship training program in which Auxiliary members guide the youth of our nation toward an understanding, comprehensive and appreciation of their roles as United States Citizens. Girls State offers training in the practical process of self government and good citizenship as practiced in a democratic society.

Seton Catholic Preparatory student and Christ the King 2009 graduate Kendall Koliboski , attended a week-long Youth Leadership Academy sponsored by the FBI.

She was chosen by a committee of FBI Academy Associates based on her academic achievement, demonstrated leadership skills, community involvement and references.

Christ the King is working to develop an Alumni Association, an organization of alumni and friends who collaborate for the purpose of reuniting alumni while sustaining and fostering relationships within the Christ the King Catholic Community through social, charitable, educational, and spiritual activities.
