From The Lunchroom:  The lunchroom is looking for volunteers to help prep and serve.  We need one volunteer for Wednesday and Friday.  The hours are 11:00am to 12:30pm.  You must be current with SET.  If you can help, please contact Laurie Bilyea at lbilyea@ctk-catholic.org.

FAIR Instructions:  To apply for financial assistance, please visit FAIR.  FAIR is an independent organization that helps determine which families qualify for financial assistance based on need. An application can be picked up in the school office, or you can apply on line at www.FAIRAPP.com.  (School Code = 700 and password = ctodp700.)   Contact Christ the King's Coordinator of Development, Mendy Bayda at 480-844-4462, with questions.

Stations of the Cross:  Christ the King School is hosting the Stations on Friday, March, 26th, at 6:00 pm. Any students, who are interested in participating, please contact Mrs. Carrieres (pcarrieres@ctk-catholic.org) or Mrs. Kupitz (mkupitz@ctk-catholic.org) by March 12th.

Field Day Help Still Needed!:  Next Friday, March 12th from 9 – 12:30, is Field Day. This is a fun morning for the students to play different types of games and events on the field followed by eating lunch outside and popsicles for a cool treat! We are still in need of several volunteers to help run/monitor one of the games.  Please help if you can. You can contact Mary Piazza at marypcm@cox.net or (480)577-2904. Thank You!

See’s Easter Candy:  We are selling See’s Easter candy again this year!  You can earn up to 50% profit and they make great gifts for teachers, buddies, neighbors, etc.  If you missed the order form in last week’s envelope, you can obtain another copy from the CTK website.  Orders need to be turned in by Monday, March 15, for delivery the following week.

Altar Server Club:  All current altar servers – there is an altar server meeting next Thursday, March 11, from 6pm to 7:30 pm in the church!  Please plan to attend.

Talent Show Update:  The Talent Show is rapidly approaching - Thursday, April 29th at 12:30pm!  Please mark your calendars for the show, as well as the Talent Show Rehearsal on Wednesday, April 28th from 3pm - 6pm.  We hope everyone has been practicing!  The Talent Show previews will be held March 22 - 25 after lunch during the recess period.  All participants will receive a notice with their preview day.  Participants will need to come prepared to preview their talent and bring a copy of their music CD (if one is needed for the show).   Please contact Lisa Gunzy or Renee Mesnik with any questions.  We are so excited for the show!

Healing The Children Stuffed Toy Drive:  Kyle (4th) and Regan (1st) would like to ask for your help in donating small stuffed animals/toys for their Dad's medical mission trip to El Salvador in May.  The toys will be given to kids during their stay in the hospital to have their feet surgically corrected.  It is a very poor country and these toys mean the world to the kids as they face a difficult surgery.  All remaining stuffed animals will be donated to local hospital children's ward to continue to offer some comfort during hospital stays throughout the year.  New toys are preferred, but feel free to donate gently used items (this is a perfect opportunity to clean out the toy box).  Photos of the kids smiling faces with their toys will be shared with the school after the trip!  Toys will be collected the weeks of March 1st and March 8th.  Thank you so much for your help!

T-shirts – Cheap!:  We still have lots of Mardi Gras at CTK auction T-shirts left in most adult and youth sizes.  These are available for $5 each in the school office – get yours today!

DIOCESE OF PHOENIX BOOK

The Diocese of Phoenix is celebrating 40 years!!  They have published an attractive, bound commemorative history of the Diocese and all the parishes.  These books normally retail for $35, however through April 6, CTK is selling the books for $25, and with the purchase of the book you will be entered to win a beautiful large wine basket.  Books may be purchased in the school or parish office.  Get yours today!!!  Don’t miss out!!
